The Problem
Following a new acquisition, the client sought strategic guidance to merge the two organizations and align the new business objective with the needs of the user. The client wanted direct user feedback and a broader understanding of the behaviors and characteristics of their current and potential users to aid in their decision whether to change their business model to a one-stop-shop model for electrification.
The Solution
Mixed methods were utilized to understand customers desires and expectations for the new platform as well as provide direct feedback on the new platforms UX/UI. 500 unmoderated surveys were taken and analyzed in addition to 15 1-hour interviews. We provided the client with 6 high level insights focusing on the user (their journey and personas), their desire for/feedback on the new business models value prop, desire for personalization in process, and overall impressions of the new model and website. Business solutions and strategic directions were provided inline with these insights.
